Not the most exciting fare, but I have been away for a time, quietly hibernating without creative outlet. I have recently learned to look at such times of inactivity as a natural expression of the cycle of life, death and rebirth we are destined to repeat on daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally bases. And the photographs are a beginning exploration of such 'hours' in my life.

It is not that I haven't been working (though December was a bit slow.) It is that I have been creating work less easy to post. I am working with photo constructions that are sometimes subtle and I fear that in trying to document them they will get lost. The above is a computer generated preliminary sketch that conveys the idea. I am trying to find more concentrated time to take the idea further.
