Wing Studies

I have been working with photographs of insect wings. Represented here are a hornet, cranefly and beetle wing in several variations. The top image is a photograph of the back side of an embroidered version of the three wing types (I have not photographed the embroidery yet.) I think this is the most interesting avenue to pursue.
