I am glad to hear that. I don't seem to get a good response to them from artists and non artists alike. I always question why I do them or if there is something else I should do with the mold, but this time when I asked the question, I answered "I haven't seen anyone else do something like this .... why not do it." For whatever that is worth.
maybe you need to show them to science nerds, micologists and such. Really though. I think people forget or don't bother to look closely. For me (besides the color palette) the charm is in the detail.
I found this at the bottom of a cup on my desk .... in my defense, it has been hot so it hadn't been there very long.
